Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Smythe grew up in southern California and received a B.S in biology and earned a minor in US history from UC Davis. She graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and went on to complete a one year rotating emergency/ specialty internship at PESCM...and has been there ever since! Her clinical interests include emergency medicine, toxicology, ophthalmology, end-of-life, and hospice care. She currently lives with her husband (also a veterinarian) and 4 black cats in Marin. In her free time she enjoys visiting historical sites, wine tasting, playing tennis, and cats.
