Dr. Denise Adams was born and raised on a small farm in Illinois where, despite being surrounded daily by animals, it did not occur to her to pursue veterinary medicine. After moving to California and graduating from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in English Literature, Dr. Adams found her second home while managing a small animal veterinary clinic. She returned to school and graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine as a member of Phi Zeta National Honor Society. Dr. Adams worked in the Sacramento Area following graduation where she developed a love of surgery, dermatology, and animal behavior.Dr. Adams strives to ensure every animals experience at the vet office is as comfortable and reassuring as possible and works to strengthen the human-animal bond that has so profoundly touched and changed her life. Dr. Adams endeavors to provide compassionate and comprehensive care for your furry family while supporting each unique human-animal relationship.Dr. Adams lives in Novato with her husband and two young sons. When not chasing boys or cleaning messes, Dr. Adams enjoys hiking, movies, and spooning her Cairn terrier, with her cat at her feet and her other terrier sleeping atop the cat.
