Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Eva Radke grew up in Marin County, California. She always had a natural love for animals and nature and continued to develop her passion through her study of science. Dr. Eva received her Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Washington in Seattle. During this time she focused on marine biology and took courses in the San Juan Islands and Denmark. After graduation Dr. Eva moved back to San Francisco, where she worked for a small pharmaceutical company developing new drugs for asthma and COPD. In the evenings she also volunteered at the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito helping to care for sick and injured seals and sea lions. While this work was challenging and rewarding, she knew that she wanted to be more directly involved in medicine and helping people to care for their beloved pets. Dr. Evas approach to medicine tends to be conservative, but she strongly believes in preventative care with regular exams, vaccinations, parasite preventatives and good nutrition. She has special interests in dermatology and infectious disease, as well as senior pet care. Dr. Evas ultimate goal is to provide high quality personalized care for your dog or cat in order to maintain their individual health and your human-animal bond. She truly believes that this bond is an essential part of our lives and our own emotional well-being. Dr. Eva earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from University of California at Davis. She now lives in Mill Valley with her grey tabby cat Riley and black lab/pointer mix Ranger. In her free time Dr. Eva enjoys yoga, skiing, cooking and traveling.
