Dr. Shannon Leggieri DVM is a recent graduate of University of California Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine. While at UC Davis, she pursued a dual track of large and small animal medicine. She excelled academically, graduating in the top 5% of her class and was inducted into the Phi Zeta Veterinary Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Dr. Shannon Leggieri DVMs special interests include toxicology, ultrasound, surgery, and internal medicine. Prior to UC Davis, she attended University of California, San Diego, where she earned a BS in animal physiology and neurosciences, followed by San Diego State University, where she earned a MS in toxicology. She continues to foster an interest in toxicology and spent her first summer of veterinary school in the California Animal Health and Food Safety toxicology laboratory. Dr. Shannon Leggieri DVM grew up in the Santa Monica mountains and has always had a passion for all animals, large and small. Her parents now divide their time between the Santa Monica mountains and their family olive orchard in Orland, CA. She currently lives in the Oakland hills with her husband Mike and their two black lab mixes, Hailey and Finnegan. Dr. Shannon Leggieri DVM is thrilled to start her career as a general practitioner with the Marin Pet Hospital family.
