Dr. Brian Zude grew up in the Bay Area and completed his undergraduate studies at U.C. Berkeley with a B.A. in Integrative Biology. After working as a veterinary technician on The Whole Pet Vet Team, he went on to receive his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California Davis in 2014. During his time there Dr. Zude was involved with a National Institute of Health research project, looking at early detection and prevention of veterinary and human diseases. He also helped develop and teach training programs for first responders on how to safely interact with injured animals. Dr. Zude enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, and has special interests in radiology and surgery. Having been a part of The Whole Pet Vet team since our opening, he has an appreciation for integrative veterinary medicine. He currently lives in the East Bay, with his two cats Charles and Sophia.
