Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Chapman started off in the veterinary world as a technician in the early 2000s in Columbus, OH. She went on to graduate with an Animal Sciences degree from The Ohio State University. Following her undergraduate degree, she completed four years of veterinary school at The Ohio State University and graduated in 2013. She spent her internship year in Albuquerque, New Mexico and then practiced emergency and general medicine in Sacramento, CA for two years. In 2016 she landed in beautiful San Diego at VCA Northcoast and plans to stay for a long time. Her special interests include emergency medicine, dentistry, internal medicine and surgery. She has three dogs: Alice, an English Setter; Kennedy, an Australian Shepherd and Gunny, a miniature long-haired dachshund. She and her fiancé love taking the dogs to run on the beach! She also enjoys woodworking, hiking, and running.
