Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lisa Miller, a native of California, started her undergraduate education at the University of California at San Diego and finished here in San Luis Obispo at Cal Poly. She then attended the University of California at Davis and received her doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1983. After school, Lisa worked in a private practice in the San Francisco bay area for several years before returning to the central coast where she has lived since. Over the years she has worked at many of the small animal hospitals in the county, sometimes as a "relief" vet. She also spent seven years as a full time housecall practice in Cambria. In 2001, she joined us here at El Camino Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Miller lives in Cambria with her husband, three cats, dog, three tortoises, cockatoo and tank full of fish!
