Hi Dr. Roseveare, Princeton was seen by you on 2/25 at TR Animal Hospital for what I suspected was Kennel Cough. His cough has gotten worse and now he sounds like a honking goose. Neither of us slept last night and I feel so bad for him as he is coughing, honking and gaging quite often. I know this can develop in pneumonia, and I certainly do not want this to happen.
Is there something more we can do for him like a cough suppressant? Could I possibly give him a child's dose of cough medicine?
Help? I hate to bother you on Sunday, but short of taking him to the emergency clinic I thought I would try to communicate with you.
