Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Coggeshall is a Maryland native with a passion for veterinary surgery, research and teaching. He earned his undergraduate degree at University of Maryland and his doctorate in veterinary medicine at Tuskegee Universitys College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Coggeshall completed internships at the Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center and Iowa State Universitys College of Veterinary Medicine. He also completed a Comparative Orthopedic Research fellowship at the University of Floridas College of Veterinary Medicine, as well as a small animal surgery residency at Louisiana State Universitys College of Veterinary Medicine before joining VRC as a resident in small animal surgery. He works closely with every veterinarian at VRC and has a strong interest in clinical research, orthopedic biomechanics, minimally invasive surgery and trauma surgery. Dr. Coggeshall enjoys spending time outdoors and has a Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier mix named Larry and a Corgi mix named Teddy.
