Dr. Michelle Stephenson is one of our Associate Doctors. She studied Pre-Veterinary Medicine at Morehead State University from 1990 to 1994 and graduated from Auburn University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. After her graduation, Dr. Stephenson practiced small animal medicine in West Virginia from 1998 to 2001; then in Kentucky from 2001-2005. She joined our team at Pace Veterinary Clinic in 2005. In 1992, she married her high school sweetheart, Cray Stephenson. She still remembers their first date on September 12, 1987. They now have two sons, Patrick and Kelton. Along with their two human children, they also currently have two Chihuahuas: Chica and Carlos, two Labradors: Berry and T, one Chesapeake Bay Retriever: Kaoz, and one Fox Terrier: Lady. In addition to their six dogs, they have three cats: Junior, Flo, and Tiger. Dr. Stephenson is very involved in her church, and she is a lifetime member of Weight Watchers having lost over 120lbs. She loves to exercise at her gym, enjoys reading, loves to ride motorcycles, and on her downtime watches just about any program on The Food Network.
