Dr. Michael Mongue, the owner and founder of Pace Veterinary Clinic, graduated from Louisiana State University in 1984. After practicing medicine in Fairhope and Pensacola for six years, he decided to venture out on his own and open the first veterinary clinic in Pace in 1991. Dr. Mongue and his wife, Sharon, have three dogs including a Golden Retriever: Washington, Jack Russell Terrier mix: Cody, and retired racing Greyhound, Slim. They also have two cats: BC and BC, along with their three horses: Buddy, Bitter, and Blue. Dr. Mongue and Sharon enjoy working on their farm, running, biking, swimming, and the sights and sounds of their Purple Martin Bird Colony.
