Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Harper received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science - Pre Med from Auburn University. Five years later she decided to pursue a degree in Veterinary Medicine instead of human medicine. She is a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine located in St. Kitts and performed her last year of clinical rotation at Purdue University.After finishing at Purdue she remained in Indiana for four years as an associate in a rural small animal hospital. Before coming to Ark Animal Hospital, she was an associate at Navy Blvd Animal Hospital and performed Veterinary relief work for several years that took her to many different clinics in many different areas.Her areas of interest in Veterinary Medicine include Soft Tissue Surgery, and Multimodal treatment of Osteoarthritis.Dr. Harper spends her time outside the office training as a Biblical counselor, playing golf (ask her to play sometime!), going to the beach, kayaking, and playing frisbee with her mutt Rocket Dog.
