Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Bates received his doctorate in veterinary medicine from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After owning a small animal practice in Phoenix, his interest in advancing veterinary medicine led him to a ten year term as director of research at St. Luke's Medical Center and five years in clinical, pharmaceutical research. Dr. Bates worked for several years on a part time and relief basis at Pinnacle Peak Animal Hospital and we are pleased to announce that he has rejoined our staff on a full time basis. He is available three days each week to provide our patients with advanced dentistry procedures such as root canals and restorations. He shares his home with his wife and a pomeranian name Lady Bug
