Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jennifer Fryer earned her DVM degree from North Carolina State University in 2000. She completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Texas A&M from 2000 -2001. She spent two years in Texas doing Feline Medicine and Emergency work before returning to Texas A&M for her residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine from 2003-2006. After her residency, she went in to private practice in New York. In 2007, she also founded Veterinary Answers, a telemedicine specialty practice, providing veterinarians around the world with consultations with 30 specialists regarding their difficult cases. In 2011, she moved to Arizona and later started a mobile ultrasound practice. While she enjoys meeting veterinarians and their patients, she missed the rapport with clients and being able to follow up with patients on their progress. In 2016, she sold the telemedicine practice and joined on with AMSC so that she could provide her patients with detailed attention and long-term care. She is experienced in ultrasound and will also be providing endoscopy services. Her special interests are infectious and immune-mediated diseases, renal disease, and anything related to the cat. She is married with a son, a dog (Cleo, pictured here), and two cats. She loves cooking, gardening, traveling, hiking, and choral music.
