Dr. Jeffrey Arthur grew up in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. He received his B.S. degree in Life Sciences from Arizona State University in 2009. He is now a graduate from Michigan State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Arthur worked as a veterinary assistant at numerous animal hospitals across the valley. Dr. Arthurs training is primarily in companion animal medicine but his curiosity often leads him to treating a variety of different species. His areas of interest include internal medicine, nutrition, and emergency medicine. Dr. Arthur knew that he wanted to be a veterinarian ever since he was 4 years old - he constantly brought home stray and injured animals. Now as a part of the Animal Medical and Surgical Center team, he has fulfilled this dream and is helping furry family members. He enjoys doing various activities with his family, such as hiking, biking, martial arts, and horseback riding. His family includes his wife Sabrina (who is pregnant with his first child), 3 dogs, 2 cats, 1 horse, 2 rabbits, a handful of various frogs and fish.
