Veterinarian Overview
Mary Kate Cameron, DVM graduated with honors from the Veterinary School at the University of California, Davis in 1982. She has been a small animal practitioner ever since. Before opening Cameron Veterinary Hospital in 1999 her employment as an associate veterinarian lasted nearly ten years. She is continually immersed in continuing education, and has been a member of the California Academy of Veterinary Medicine (the voluntary association recognizing excellence in CE) for many years. Her special interests include internal medicine and endocrinology, geriatrics, and unusual pets, such as rats, guinea pigs, ferrets, prairie dogs, hedgehogs. Her exceptional rapport with patients and her tireless willingness to explain disease entities and health issues to clients has won Dr. Cameron an extremely large and faithful clientele.Kate graduated from Colorado State University in 1975 with a degree in Zoology and emphasis in counseling psychology and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Cameron and her family have deep roots in the Sunnyvale-Cupertino community.
