Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Joy Culbertson is a native of Laurens, SC. She is a cum laude graduate of Clemson University and a 2009 graduate of University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked in veterinary medicine since 1998, starting as an assistant/ kennel tech and working her way up to her dream job as veterinarian.Dr. Culbertson is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Greater Greenville Vet Med Association, SC Association of Veterinarians, the American Association of Human-Animal Bond Veterinarians, and American Heartworm Society. Her professional interests include spay/neuter surgery, internal medicine, dentistry and wellness care.In addition to veterinary medicine, Dr. Culbertson enjoys yoga, reading and Clemson Tiger sports. She and her husband recently welcomed a son, Declan, to their family. They also share their home with Tink, Peeper and Bandit (all rescued Chihuahuas).
