Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Donna L. Lindner earned her DVM from Cornell University in 1985 and was a recipient of the 1985 Gentle Doctor Award. She performed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center in New York City, spent two years in private practice, and then completed a three-year animal surgery residency at the University of Illinois. That was followed by several years in academia and a decision to specialize in cancer medicine. Dr. Lindner joined VOSRC in 2000. She says her work with animals and their owners is shaped by a favorite quote from The Prophet: Work is love made visible . . . When you work with love you bind yourself to yourself and to one another and to God. I try to approach each new case with love, she adds.
