Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Monica Dominguez is a small animal veterinarian currently working in Sheridan West Animal Clinic. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she attended the University of Puerto Rico in Mayaguez where she got her undergraduate degree in animal science and agricultural science. Later, she attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, and completed her clinical year in Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. During that time she volunteered in Costa Rica doing surgeries for animals in underdeveloped towns. She has also volunteered at various shelters and rescue facilities. Her special interests include internal medicine and surgery. When not working she enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs Minnie and Arturo. Her hobbies include yoga, ballet, traveling, and cycling.
