Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Daniel Levin has been practicing veterinary medicine in South Florida for the past 28 years. He earned both his Bachelor's Degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of Florida, where he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.Dr. Levin has dedicated himself to providing superior medicine and care to all of his patients, and he firmly believes that each pet should be treated with love, respect and dignity. He specializes in small animal medicine, and has a special interest in preventative medicine.Dr. Levin is a longstanding member of several veterinary organizations including the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA) and the Broward County Veterinary Medical Association (BCVMA). Beyond providing great medical care to all his patients, Dr. Levin believes strongly in giving back to the community. He actively raises funds for Dance Marathon at the University of Florida, an organization which strives to raise funds and awareness for the kids at UF Health Shands Childrens Hospital, a Childrens Miracle Network hospital. Dr. Levin's oldest daughter, Paige, is an assistant director with Dance Marathon at the University of Florida.In his spare time, Dr. Levin enjoys travel, reading, and football. As a UF alum and an avid Gators Fan, he loves supporting the home team. But most importantly, he enjoys time with his wife Julie, his children and his family pets.
